Colleen is a long time resident of Montgomery and Frederick Counties and has been involved in real estate transactions since 1988. Colleen was a former principal and member of the Senior Management Team of Universal Title, and of Ridgway, Griffin, Kestner and Smyth, Chartered and was with Universal from 1993 until September, 2007. She is experienced in all aspects of the residential real estate transaction and enjoys teaching continuing real estate education courses for local REALTORS®.
With more than 20 years of experience as a mortgage banker and title attorney, Marty began his legal career with Ridgway and Griffin in Rockville, Maryland. Rising to the rank of partner and subsequent co-owner of the firm's title company, Universal Settlements, LLC, he conducted thousands of settlements. His contribution to Universal was instrumental in the firm's growth and eventual sale to First American Title Insurance Company, where Marty assumed the role of Regional Vice President and Mid-Atlantic Direct Operations Manager. Marty brought his dedication and experience to KVS Title, LLC, where he focuses his time on conducting residential and commercial real estate settlements. Marty teaches continuing education courses for real estate and mortgage professionals. He is a member of the American, Maryland, and District of Columbia Bar associations. He is also an affiliate member of the Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS® and District of Columbia Association of REALTORS®.
Sandra Stewart is a native Washingtonian and graduate from The Catholic University of America with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Sandra is a trusted professional that has managed a successful career in real estate and program management for over 25 years. She is a Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI), a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), and licensed to provide real estate services in Maryland, District of Columbia, and Virginia. Sandra is currently affiliated with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage as the Branch Vice President of their Arlington Regional Sales Office located in Arlington, Virginia. She currently serves on the GCAAR Education Committee and teaches New Member Orientation and Continuing Education courses for the association.
A native to the DC Metro Area, Grace has an affinity for meeting new people and an unquenchable desire to leave this world a better place. The official title for her day job is "Marketing Associate," which is really code for "relationship-builder." On behalf of New World Title and Escrow, she has the amazing opportunity to continuously connect with real estate professionals through hosting happy hours, classes, broker's opens, teaching marketing classes and any other type of event that could be of service to others. She is currently an active member of GCAAR (Member of the 2018 YPN Committee and Member of the Women's Council of REALTORS®) and NVAR (2018 Technology Advisory Committee), and holds her Virginia Notary License.
Nicholas Vlissides is an attorney licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the District of Columbia for the last 28 years. He received a juris doctor degree from the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, and a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Virginia, and is a licensed title producer/agent in D.C., Maryland and Virginia. As a litigator earlier in his legal career, Nicholas has argued many cases in federal and state court and is a member of the bars of the United States Supreme Court, and the U.S. Courts of Appeal for the Fourth and District of Columbia Circuits. He is the founder and current President and Chief Underwriting Counsel of New World Title & Escrow, a real estate settlement company and title insurance agency providing closing services in DC, Maryland and Virginia. He has lectured extensively to real estate agents and attorneys on real estate law matters.
Kevin Wheeler grew up in the junk removal business. At 16 years old, he joined his brother Collin as 123JUNK's first employee. He worked on and off the trucks through high school and college. Shortly after graduating from Radford University, Kevin decided to accept a business development role with the company doing what he enjoys the most, interacting with people and cultivating relationships. Kevin is active in GCAAR's Young Professionals Network (YPN), GCAAR Cares, YPN Cares, the Women's Council of REALTORS®, and was a co-recipient of GCAAR's 2017 Affiliate of the Year winner.
Brian Willingham has been in the mortgage industry for over 15 years. For most of that time he has been a mortgage banker, but Brian has also worked different areas, including construction lending and mortgage modifications.
